Hi Simon,
most of the new camcorders do have an AV in jack. You just need to check the specs or ask at the store. There are also new bullet type cameras like the Oregon Scientific which have everything integrated in one piece: Oregon Scientific ATC2K (ATC-2000) Helmet Camera | Helmet Camera Central
